I provide short term, limited consultations for high schools, colleges, and universities as well as more intensive and long term consultations. I have presented to many audiences around the country including small workshops for a specific department as well as keynote presentations to audiences of over 1,000 people. The goal of the consultation process is to allow your organization to develop a comprehensive, sustainable, and cost-effective action plan that can be delivered in subsequent years without any further direction. In other words, the strategies we create together should be comprehensive and simple enough that they run themselves in the future. All consultations include small-scale workshops as well as large scale, assembly-style programming. My presentations work from the best practices outlined by today's best researchers. My goals for all of my presentations is to build skills, frame change in a personally relevant manner, and to allow audiences to laugh along the way. The presentations are packed with information as well as entertain. This balance is critical and often separates my presentations from others that primarily do one or the other.
I offer two separate areas of focus:
1. Building effective prevention strategies to reduce underage and high-risk consumption of alcohol
2. Building a multiculturally competent organization (The picture below is a snapshot of Tim speaking at the United Nations Headquarters in NYC at the recent NGO conference.)
